Group Strategy
The paucity of electric power in Africa's largest economy, Nigeria, has long been a subject of deep concern for Greenland. This seemingly intractable issue has driven Greenland to undertake exhaustive studies aimed at uncovering the myriad challenges hindering the Nigerian government's long-standing goal of delivering constant power to its citizens. These efforts are part of a broader initiative to develop viable technical and financial solutions that can be deployed immediately to spur the nation’s growth and development. One of the key initiatives earmarked for immediate implementation is the Illuminate Nigeria Project (INP). The INP is designed to provide modular power plants across the country, leveraging locally available resources such as solar, wind, gas, and hydro as feedstock for electricity generation. The benefits of the INP strategy are expected to be realized in the very short term, owing to Greenland's commitment to deploy both technical expertise and financial investment to bring the project to fruition without delay.
